This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Thailand, located directly in the midst of beautiful ricefields. The room was spacious and cosy, with an adjacent terrace to enjoy. The owner is super helpful with tips and activities to do in the area and even gave us a ride to a nearby tea garden. Khao Kiang Na is the perfect place stay if you are looking to explore a bit of Thai countryside and enjoy the surrounding peace and quiet.

Jasmine Hills Lodge is located at the edge of Chiang Mai City, a 10-minute drive from local handicraft stores. This boutique resort offers an outdoor pool, spa and restaurant. It was an old-fashioned hotel, I think it's fit for the old generation or someone who looking for a calm and quiet place. The location is far from the city, but the place is so cool and calm.

Nestled among the mountains and rice fields of Mae Rim, Hmong Hilltribe Lodge offers rooms, spread throughout 10 main houses. Rooms share a communal living area, complete with open fireplace. The staff is very friendly. We visited during the Christmas Eve and they gave every guest a Christmas hat and some small gifts while we having the dinner. Located in the mountains area. It's a bit cold at night but they provided a small heater in the room which is very thoughtful.

In addition, I liked that the price was cheaper than other accommodation nearby. The price was affordable.
