Sauna and fire outside above the arctic circle was the best. Cannot recommend staying here for a northern Sweden adventure more highly.

Everything was as promised and local beach was peaceful and clean. We loved everything about this place and its surroundings. Great place for both one night stayover or for longer holiday.

Both Joakim and Marten are very nice and at hand for any support. The sauna was the cherry on the cake and a great experience to heat it yourself, get warm water for showering from it etc.

Would recommend a car but we had no issues with the roads despite the snowfall. We stayed only one night with our two daughters (4,2) and found everything as we needed. The house itself is beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. We spent the morning enjoying the snow and taking advantage of the kicksleds and sleds that were available that the kids absolutely loved. Lots of opportunities to spot wildlife too although we unfortunately didn’t spot any local roaming Moose. Look forward to returning. The host was super attentive and was on hand if needed.

It is an absolute pearl among accommodations. Ideally located with great views, the kitchen is perfectly equipped. The hosts are very nice and helpful but also respecting your privacy. Simply paradise!

Located along the Kungsleden trail, this accommodation is only accessible by hiking or skiing, 5.5 km west of Nikkaluokta. Location and interior and cleanliness

Offering rooms with a lake view and modern furnishings, this property is 22 km from Kiruna and 35 minutes’ drive from Nikkaluokta. It features a cosy, bookable restaurant cabin with a personal chef. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.
