My stay in a beautiful cabin at Vollsnes Feriehus was nothing short of breath-taking. The views of the mountains and the lake was stunning, there is a fantastic hike a short walk away from the stay. The cabin was fully supplied, clean, aesthetic, and very cute. I also want to say a huge thank you to the owners who were extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful and generous during my stay. I couldn't have picked a better stay in my visit to such a beautiful country. I highly recommend Vollsnes Feriehus for a peaceful and very memorable stay in Norway.

We so enjoyed Lucie's fine French vegetarian dinner (the veggie part was our request) and our walks in the gorgeous, secluded, glacier area, which for us included a vivid rainbow at the base of a waterfall. Truly a memorable joy.

I just love everything about it. John himself greeted us for check-in and he is very kind. Everything went smooth and we highly recommend this cabin to everyone who wants to stop at Akrafjorden.

An absolutely unique place. Both in terms of location and the house itself. The house is large, has two levels and contains six comfortable bedrooms. Living room large, kitchen, dining room equipped with everything you need for comfortable living. Two bathrooms. Beautiful decor throughout the house, attention to detail. The house is located on a hill with a beautiful view of nature. The area has ski trails and numerous trails for mountain hiking with many beautiful and surprising places along the way. Nice and friendly owners and well equipped cabin. Quiet neighborhood, and the sound from the river that flows just by the cabin will make you sleep instantly. Good and comfortable beds in the bedrooms.
