The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Linda, our guide is a great host and made every effort to ensure we saw as much of the jungle wildlife as possible. She made us feel welcome from the first moment. This was a true jungle experience where it is only accessible by boat.

El The Last Frontier Boutique Resort se encuentra en Bilit, en lo alto de una colina de 100 metros con vistas a la reserva forestal de Kinabatangan y a 2 horas en coche de la hermosa Sandakan. one word: amazing! if you had the chance I would recommend to book this place! Jason Grent and the staff are very friendly, they have just 4 rooms so they take care of all their people! this is a true experience into Borneo wild life…we had a lucky meeting with an orangutan nearby the rooms! the eco resort is located up to a hill but is not difficult to go upstairs since you are incredibly absorbed in the nature! they organised everything perfectly: 2 boat trips and one trekking up to a hill (about 2,5h). You have enough time to rest. They also care a lot about our transfer at the check out to Semporna, we could not ask for more!! The food was also good, even if for me a little bit too “western”, banana pancakes and nasi goreng were special!! rooms are big essential and comfy. this experience is worth to do, just remind the Jungle itself is a little bit noisy special during the night, we slept well anyways. thanks again! I would come again!

Bayu Senja Lodge se encuentra en Kundasang, en la región de Sabah, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The lodge is amazing and it is location is readily and easily found within the Waze App. Signs to go to the place are easily seen so you wont get lost. Although the small stretch of roads heading to the lodge was rocky and bumpy, it was still a great experience! Location was beautiful and the view is just immaculate. Wonderful and helpful staff! Do prepare some mosquito patches for yourself if you need it. If not, you are good to go! And the parking space is limited, so plan ahead when you are renting a car to drive to this place!

D' Limbai Cottage está en Ranau, en la región de Sabah, y ofrece alojamiento con parking privado gratis. En el lodge se puede usar la terraza. The room itself was clean and tidy. It had an amazing view !! We walked to and from town. Close to everything. Good workout walking up and down the driveway. The staff were very friendly and so helpful with any requests. Loved staying here. Would stay again

My friends and I was so happy and satisfied with stunning view of Mt. Kinabalu from window. Besides, the owner was so supportive and friendly. Highly recommended!!!

The guide really took his time and effort to see the wild animals. We saw the elephants, proboscis monkeys, eagel, Hornbill bird,...

Maglami-lami Water House está en Semporna y dispone de vistas al mar y restaurante. Hay un baño privado totalmente equipado con bidet y zapatillas. El lodge ofrece terraza solárium. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Free snorkeling around Waterhouse and equipment is also free(10RM to rent fin though). Dining is amazingly delicious(we had very good crabs).

Amazing Grace Lodge se encuentra en Kundasang, en la región de Sabah, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. the staff was extremely helpful and kind. we stayed here on either side of hiking Mt Kinabalu, and would recommend it for any traveller. 10-15 minute walk from town and a series of restaurants. Great view.

El Tampat do Aman está situado en medio de exuberante vegetación y ofrece alojamiento en Kg Tiga Papan, a 30 km de Kudat. Howard was an exceptional host. From the minute we arrived, he made us feel settled and showed us around the area. He offered to bring us every morning to wherever we wanted to go along the tip of Borneo. The jungle camp itself is so special and there is a great vibe amongst the other travellers. We would have loved to stay longer but we needed to catch the bus to Sandakan (and they don’t go very often!)
