It was truly a privilege to spend a week at Entremares. The people who work here (especially Gloria and Suleima!) are extremely kind, down to earth, and helpful. I saw more shooting stars in one night that in my whole life combined. We loved swimming in the ocean and the estuary and falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The cabaña was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We did not miss having hot water (the water comes from a tank so it's somewhat heated by the sun and was certainly not ice cold). We were really impressed with the food at the restaurant. We ate all our meals there for 8 days and never got bored. We probably tried half the menu and while we had some favorites, everything was fresh and tasty. We especially appreciated the way the staff proactively handled a dairy allergy and remembered from meal to meal. The menu is also fairly priced. A truly beautiful place to soak up the natural world of Chiapas and one of those special places I'll never forget.

Þessi dvalarstaður er staðsettur í Lacandon-frumskóginum í Palenque, í 5 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá fornminjasvæðinu í Palenque. Cascadas Agua Azul-náttúrugarðurinn er í 60 km akstursfjarlægð. Location is excellent, experience as well, we had rain in one of the days and was one of the best experiences in my life.

Cabañas Junkolal Tziscao í Santiago býður upp á fjallaútsýni, gistirými, garð, verönd og veitingastað. Smáhýsið er með bæði WiFi og einkabílastæði án endurgjalds. The owner is kind and comprehensive, the internet works amazing and the morning coffee ☕ with the lake view is incredible.

Villas Adriana, Palenque er staðsett 3 km frá steinrústum Palenque og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, garði og sólarhringsmóttöku, gestum til þæginda. Adriana is the best host ever. She makes you feel at home and is ALWAYS and I mean always available and ready to help. The place is a paradise and everything is super clean. Its a true mayan experience and super close to the famous ruins. The food is phenomenal and the location of the restaurant is breathtaking. Just have in mind that Its a little hard to reach if you dont have a car but non the less you can take a taxi since its not too far from the center. And she has 2 lovely dogs that are very polite.. just watch out... you will want to pet them all day. So a big thank you to Adriana and her team for making us feel very welcome and made sure that we had the best stay we could. And thank you for the beautiful parting gift:) we will come back very soon.

Las Guacamayas Lodge Resort er staðsett í suðrænum frumskógi í Chiapas, í 5 klukkustunda akstursfjarlægð frá San Cristobal de las Casas og býður upp á veitingastað. The suite was absolutely fantastic. Had a wonderful experience staying here. Got to see moneys, Guacamayas, crocodiles, etc. 100% recommend!

Staðsett í Lacandon Jungle í Chiapas, við bakka Santo Domingo-árinnar, í náttúrulegu umhverfi sem snýr að Las Nubes-fossinum. This ecolodge is like a dream. The location next to the river and waterfall are unreal. The food at the restaurant is also very good. I stayed at three difference ecolodges in Chiapas, and this was by far the best.

Yagil B&B er staðsett í San Cristóbal de Las Casas og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi, garð, sameiginlega setustofu og verönd. the complex with the inner patio is just magnificent, its really quiet and the view from the rooftop (we rented the house a few days earlier with friends, before my stay alone there) is beautiful. the staff, cleaning service and especially Yagil are very welcoming and can help you with every request even without being able to speak spanish. the double room i stayed alone in is perfect size and most important the tap water in the complex is treated so its safe to use for brushing teeth etc. that otherwise can be a problem in San Cris. Another good tip is to go on a tour with Yagil in the jungle/mountains dont miss that out!! free water, EXCELENT WIFI!!
