The staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, especially beth the receptionist, We had requested a twin room through booking.com but they didn’t pass the message on. It was after the cleaners had gone home and the receptionist came to split the beds up on her own. Wasn’t able to do it as needed a screwdriver so offered us a better room for the night til they could sort it out. There was entertainment for the kids so everyone was happy. Everything was very clean, couldn’t fault it.

The facilities are all just right for the place - small kitchen, but fully equipped with everything you need; extremely efficient log burner that gets the place toasty in seconds; comfy beds and chairs; plenty of space outside for the dog to run about. And the best of all - the host is so friendly and helpful.
