The room was amazing with a ridiculously epic view and a jacuzzi in the balcony too! Our bathroom was just incredible with a bath, a shower and a separate waterfall shower. The view and location is breathtaking. It’s secluded enough to make you feel slightly off the grid and the scenery is beautiful. There are some amazing plants to see and plenty of humming birds flying around that make the experience magical. Whoever designed this hotel has put a lot of thought into detail and must have loved nature. There are waterfalls at the property which cannot be missed.

The lodge is beautiful, set in the hills next to a rain forest. My room reminded me of log cabin but with a modern bath room. I loved sitting on my balcony with the beautiful landscaping of trees & flower plants. I would awake to see the sheep grazing on the hills. You can walk into a little forest to a running creek, very cool. All of the staff are wonderful, and the owner Ruben is great & very helpful letting me know all of the things to do in the area. And the breakfast & dinners are very good, they have an awesome chef. I will definitely be back to stay here again!!

A 2,6 km de Estação Biológica La Selva, Gran Gavilán del Sarapiquí Lodge dispõe de acomodações, restaurante, uma piscina exterior, um jardim e um terraço. The grounds of the lodge are beautiful - there are many beautiful flowers and lots of different birds -- it is a birdwatcher's paradise. The cabins have nice decks with comfortable chairs as well as a large central viewing deck with hammocks and comfortable chairs. The staff was were welcoming and spoke excellent English. They went above and beyond any expectations when my friend became ill and had to go to the local clinic. The owner of the lodge drove us to the clinic and stayed with our friend the whole time, translating and ensuring he got his proper medications. We are so grateful.

Beautiful place and the frogs are just outside your door. Staff is friendly, food is good. Kids loved all about this place. Pool is small but ok. And wifi worked well

Com vista do jardim, Chilamate Rainforest Eco Retreat encontra-se em Puerto Viejo e possui um restaurante, uma cozinha partilhada, bar, jardim e terraço. It was stunning. The rooms were more like apartments. The staff were wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
