The room was amazing with a ridiculously epic view and a jacuzzi in the balcony too! Our bathroom was just incredible with a bath, a shower and a separate waterfall shower. The view and location is breathtaking. It’s secluded enough to make you feel slightly off the grid and the scenery is beautiful. There are some amazing plants to see and plenty of humming birds flying around that make the experience magical. Whoever designed this hotel has put a lot of thought into detail and must have loved nature. There are waterfalls at the property which cannot be missed.

Mountain Lodge CheTica er staðsett í San Jerónimo á Heredia-svæðinu og La Sabana Metropolitan-garðurinn er í innan við 19 km fjarlægð. The lodge is beautiful, set in the hills next to a rain forest. My room reminded me of log cabin but with a modern bath room. I loved sitting on my balcony with the beautiful landscaping of trees & flower plants. I would awake to see the sheep grazing on the hills. You can walk into a little forest to a running creek, very cool. All of the staff are wonderful, and the owner Ruben is great & very helpful letting me know all of the things to do in the area. And the breakfast & dinners are very good, they have an awesome chef. I will definitely be back to stay here again!!

Gran Gavilán del Sarapiquí Lodge er staðsett í La Selva Biological Station, í 2,6 km fjarlægð og býður upp á gistirými, veitingastað, útisundlaug, garð og verönd. Quiet, authentic hotel on the edge of town. Lots of space for short hikes and looking for birds and other animals. Owners and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Dinner on site after a busy day was a retreat and enjoyed immensely.

Beautiful place and the frogs are just outside your door. Staff is friendly, food is good. Kids loved all about this place. Pool is small but ok. And wifi worked well
