Samara Chillout Lodge is a boutique hotel located 10 minutes' walk from Samara Beach in a quiet area. It features an outdoor pool surrounded by a tropical garden. Lovely designed placed, pool facility and excellent room. They also provide beach towels which is a nice extra!

The Good Life Lodge offers 6 modern and comfortable hotel rooms and a 2-story house. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. The room and property were beautiful. They have a dog named Spencer that reminds me of Dwayne Johnson...buff, friendly, and sooo sweet! The beach is literally around the corner. One of the main grocery stores is around the other corner. I could not recommend this place enough. Thank you guys!!

Featuring sea views, Totobe Resort in Jabilla features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Totobe was was my greatest stay in Costa Rica over the last 2 weeks. I planned to be there one night which turned into 3. Imaani is the best hostess and her Team of 2 make the most welcoming experience, including fantastic breakfasts and dinners. Thank you, Totobe.

Offering an outdoor pool, tennis courts and massages services, Guacamaya Lodge is located in Paraíso, 9 minutes’ walk from Junquillal Beach. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. This was our second time here and for sure not the last time. This place is unique. The Swiss owners make sure it's clean, well organized, well maintained and safe. We had a twin bed bungalow. They are well designed with opposite windows (with mosquito net), no need to switch on the aircondition. The food at the Restaurant is the best at Junquillal beach. Daily wake up call by the howler monkeys. Overall a very calm place. 2 minutes walk to the breathtaking beach. This place is close to paradise with reasonable prizing. Highly recommended.

Surrounded by the jungle and offering a wooden restaurant, palapa roof bungalows and a swimming pool, Mundo Milo Eco Lodge is located 350 metres from Juquillal Beach. The location is amazing with a wonderful pool and a really quite area. The food is delicious and the staff is extraordinarily friendly. I just stayed one night as my whole trip was pre-booked, but I would have liked to stay longer.

Cabañas Cañas Castilla is located on the shores of Sapoa River and 10 minutes’ drive from La Cruz town. It features Orosi Volcano views and one day tours to Nicaragua. Best location in the area of La Cruz. Close to the beaches, yet secluded lush paradise. Our second time staying here. You are surrounded by native old trees that attracts wildlife- toucans, parrots, colibri, monkeys every days. It’s so peaceful. This place is a destination on its own. Cabins are very cozy, hot water always with good pressure. Crisp linens. Daily housekeeping. Great breakfast. But most importantly you will be warmly received by the owners. Wonderful people that make you feel at home. For sure will be back and recommending this place to everyone. Internet connection not great for those whose life depends on it.

Boasting a garden and a terrace, Tamarindo Pura Selva Eco Tree House offers accommodation in Guatemala with free WiFi and garden views. Absolutely beautiful treehouse. Excellent craftsmanship. Sways in the wind with the tree. This is a beautiful place for real nature lovers. There are critters so if you don't like them, this is not the place for you.

Featuring a year-round outdoor pool, Cabañas del Bosque in Nandayure provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Cute, well appointed, brand new cabins as of 2022. Remote, but well stocked with electric hot plate and pot, coffee and coffee maker, and mini fridge. And a nice little pool! Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!

Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the sea, Canta La Rana is set in Bejuco and offers accommodation with free WiFi. Everything was perfect! Our stay was simply amazing and we loved everything about it. From the excellent, convenient location, the luxuriousness and comfort of the suite, to the extremely helpful and hospitable staff. The beds were very comfortable and allowed us perfect rest, and the breakfast was fantastic with a different menu every day. The hotel offered a breathtaking views that left us in awe every morning & night. Whether it was watching the sunrise from my room or enjoying a sunset on the terrace, the vistas were nothing short of spectacular. Canta la Rana is a true gem which offers an incredible experience and Juan and Patrick are the perfect hosts

Located in Brasilito, Casa Natural offers accommodation with a terrace and kitchen. Complimentary WiFi is available. We were so impressed by this property. The cabana style rooms where really cool and comfortable, within a gated area so while close to the beach there aren't cars passing by. The best part about it is the pool and BBQ area - it's really spacious, has tasteful styling, and there's a hot tub! It was so inviting that we spent a night cooking and swimming there instead of going out. I'd recommend it to anyone! Bonus - we saw a couple of snakes around the room :D
