Stunning location with unbelievable view, very tranquil and peaceful, very friendly owners, great breakfast! Need at least an SUV to get to it as around 3km up an unmade rocky road, but well worth the slow drive, as the views are amazing! Quite good wifi as well! Would happily stay there again!

Offering free WiFi and an outdoor pool, Corredores del Pacuare is situated on Pacayitas, from La Suiza district (Taxi station) 11km North, at this point you will find the San Vicente intersection from... Very good experience. The hotel is somewhat remote (9km drive on unpaved road). Gilberth (the owner) is a very nice person. He really helped me when I got stuck driving a small FWD car, and prepared a very good breakfast. Highly recommended place to stay, but I would recommend driving a 4x4 in that area.

Paraíso Quetzal Lodge features extensive gardens, wooden bungalows and a terrace with views of the cloud forest. It is located just 3 km from Los Quetzales National Park. 流暢な英語を話す親切なスタッフで快適に過ごせました。 サンホセの空港への送迎も手配してくれました。長距離なので前日までに相談すると良いと思います。 一人旅で事前にＷｅｂサイトからツアーの予約は出来ませんでしたが（最小予約人数は２名から）、到着時にフロントで予約することが出来ます。 ホテルの敷地内のトレイルや、レストラン横のテラスでハチドリをはじめたくさんの鳥を見ることが出来ます。レストランの食事も美味しかったです。 夜は冷え込みますが、ベッドに何枚も毛布が準備されていて快適でした。早朝のケツァールツアーは日が登り切るまでは冷え込みます。12月末にタンクトップ、長袖Tシャツ、長袖シャツ、裏起毛パーカー、ウルトラライトダウンにホッカイロで行きました。無事にケツァールも見ることができました！

The owner, Mili, was very helpful in all aspects of our stay, including the booking process, and offering recommendations for restaurants, transportation, and other activities before and after we arrived. The restaurant recommendations were unnecessary, as the food onsite was delicious. The hiking trails nearby were excellent. The hotel also offers bicycling, rafting, and horseback riding. Before we arrived and when we left, Mili was quietly standing by to coordinate any potential difficulties with logistics.

We arrived at dusk and it rained all night. Staying here offers an amazing opportunity to be completely off grid, in a cabin, in the jungle. Walter was a great host. Remember this is Costa Rica, don’t expect hot water! or in this case electricity in the cabin. Walter gave us lanterns and we had a mindful quite night away from everything.
