Reserva Natural Tucuchira is situated in Santa Sofía, 31 km from Leticia. Tabatinga is 34 km from the property. The property offer hammock-style accommodation, shared bathroom facilities are included. Kindness and top of the line hospitality. La selva is a magical place Tucuchira is the best spot it’s located in the heart of the Amazon and close to indigenous communities. Part of the profit goes to the children of the communities. It feels really nice to stay in a place that shares the blessings with the Amazon people.

Located in Leticia, Reserva Natural Natura Park features a garden and sun terrace. Bed linen is offered. Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant. The property also offers packed lunches. This place is a beautiful but rustic spot next to the Amazon river. The food was very good, usually fish from the river. At night the jungle birds and frogs sing you to sleep. It’s not a place for the squeamish, we had a tarantula on our ceiling, but the mosquito nets work well and you really get a chance to be surrounded by the Amazon rain forest. The tours they offer are very reasonably priced, but there are also plenty of places to just hang out and enjoy the nature. The common areas were very social and we had some great conversations with the other guests. Also, the staff was especially welcoming and made us feel at home right away. It was really cool to be able to talk to people who live in the Amazon and hear a little bit about daily life here. Overall, this was a huge highlight for us.

Tucked away in the Amazon forest, Omshanty offers bungalows and rooms with shared bathrooms 11 km from the centre of Leticia. The staff were very helpful and the spanish omlet I had for dinner was the best I've ever eaten! Having a full cabin to myself a bit apart from the others with only the sound of the jungle was magic.

Hotel Amazon is located in the heart of Leticia, a few minutes from Amazon River on the border between Colombia, Peru and Brazil. It offers a hot tub, massage services and spacious bungalows. The place is really nice and cozy. They have hot water and aircon which is a big bonus in Leticia. The breakfast is very good. Staff was very nice and helpful especially Judy. Location is nice. Not too far from the center but in the quiet area. Definitely recommend.
