Kindness and top of the line hospitality. La selva is a magical place Tucuchira is the best spot it’s located in the heart of the Amazon and close to indigenous communities. Part of the profit goes to the children of the communities. It feels really nice to stay in a place that shares the blessings with the Amazon people.

This place is a beautiful but rustic spot next to the Amazon river. The food was very good, usually fish from the river. At night the jungle birds and frogs sing you to sleep. It’s not a place for the squeamish, we had a tarantula on our ceiling, but the mosquito nets work well and you really get a chance to be surrounded by the Amazon rain forest. The tours they offer are very reasonably priced, but there are also plenty of places to just hang out and enjoy the nature. The common areas were very social and we had some great conversations with the other guests. Also, the staff was especially welcoming and made us feel at home right away. It was really cool to be able to talk to people who live in the Amazon and hear a little bit about daily life here. Overall, this was a huge highlight for us.

The staff were very helpful and the spanish omlet I had for dinner was the best I've ever eaten! Having a full cabin to myself a bit apart from the others with only the sound of the jungle was magic.

Ubicato nel cuore di Leticia, a pochi minuti dal Rio delle Amazzoni, sul confine tra Colombia, Perù e Brasile, l'Hotel Amazon Bed And Breakfast offre una vasca idromassaggio, massaggi e bungalow... Ho soggiornato da loro per due notti, sia al mio arrivo a Leticia che la sera prima della partenza per Bogotà dopo il rientro da un'escursione di tre giorni. I proprietari mi hanno gentilmente permesso di lasciare da loro la valigia grande fino al mio ritorno. La struttura è molto carina, lo staff è gentilissimo e le camere sono semplici ma grandi, pulite, con tutto l'occorrente (per esempio l'aria condizionata) e sono disposte intorno ad un bel giardino. La posizione è strategica sia per il centro di Leticia che per l'aeroporto e i dintorni sono molto tranquilli, cosa non da poco considerando che ci sono alcune zone dove non si riuscirebbe a dormire dal rumore che c'è.... A pochi passi ci sono dei ristoranti.
