The kangaroos and birds come right up to the cabins and it really is a joy to watch the wildlife. The cabin is comfortable and has everything you could need. We were especially happy with the comfortable beds and bedding, the full kitchen and the firewood trolleys to make a nice fire every evening. The owners are super friendly and always willing to help.

The Romeo cottage was so cosy!! The fire was ready for us to light when we arrived and we kept that burning throughout our stay from the good wood stock left for us. We loved having a bath overlooking the beautiful Forrest and waking up to that view from the huge comfy bed! Lots of little birds flitting around and such a peaceful environment for relaxing, walking and reconnecting.

A beautiful chalet in a serene location. We stayed in the Kingfisher chalet. It was clean and comfortable and the wood fire was a bonus. The chalet also had reverse cycle air conditioning . Sitting outside on the private veranda in the spa was very relaxing and nice and warm. I would definitely recommend Donnelly Lakes and will definitely return 😊

El Bussells Bushland Cottages está situado en el corazón de la región vinícola de Margaret River y ofrece alojamientos con patio con zona de barbacoa, cocina totalmente equipada y vistas preciosas a... Amazing!! The best part of our four week visit to Perth. Great location with so many stunning beaches, breweries and wineries within a 30 minute drive. 5 mins into Margaret River by car which has a selection of good supermarkets, restaurants and some fabulous shops. The Margaret River Bakery is fabulous. We loved waking up to see the kangaroos lying in the sun, and the walk around the perimeter of the lane is great for roo spotting. Kitchen perfect size and fridge big enough for a weekly shop, we used the gas bbq every night. We’ll be back one day for sure 😊 Also the washing machines at reception also very useful.

Spotlessly clean, fire stoked and ready to light, chocolates on the pillow & a lovely fresh flower on the table. The room itself was outdated, but had a country charm, And comfy bed! Great spot, close to town, but far enough away for some peace & quiet.
