Our bedroom was spacious,clean, and comfortable. Food was excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. The lodge has so much history and we really enjoyed our half day battle field tour with Richard. We would highly recommend a stay if you want to experience an authentic and peaceful stay in this beautiful part of South Africa.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the meals were excellent. The highlight of the stay was the half-day "Battlefields" trip to Spioen Kop and Mount Alice provided by our host/guide, Raymond Herron. Incredible! For bird enthusiasts, the bird life is prolific. All in all Spioen Kop Lodge is highly recommended and we look forward to a return trip. Our thanks to all.

It is really well maintained and a peaceful breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. It really has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a nice lodge with an amazing restaurant next door - pizza and cocktails come highly recommended.
