Saw all the big 5 and more, eating on the deck over the wetlands i watched cheetahs, lions, elephants, crocodiles etc go about there day. Patrick was my ranger on tours and was very informative and easy to talk too. Accomodation was very clean and tidy, all the staff were so lovely and accommodating. The midday massage between tours was perfect. A must do park when traveling. Enjoy!

Wonderful location, Madikwe is magical. Really helpful staff who were welcoming, friendly, and went the extra mile at every turn. Beautiful rustic chalets (with very firm beds, a bit too firm for us but maybe not for you!) Great food cooked and served with care. The lodge’s rooms are decorated in warm and natural colours, they offer air conditioning and a patio with a view. Each room features a private entrance, coffee machine and a safe.

Last Word Madikwe boasts an underground hide, where guests may occasionally see animals drinking from the waterhole which is located in front of the lodge.

Excellent, warm and friendly staff. The waterhole, 50 yards from the lodge, had a constant stream of animals: elephants, Rhinos, Giraffes, and numerous others. This was my fifth 3 day safari and I was amazed with the quality of the lodge, food and animal sightings on the twice daily drives.

It was at the center of busy animal activity, but well fenced in for safety. We loved the rock swimming pool. We can see the occasional elephant or giraffe over the fence from the pool.
