Sjanien and Stephen were very nice hosts who did their best to make us feel comfortable. The property is very spacious and clean. There were several braai spots with good lighting at night. We enjoyed the safari (free for kids). In summary, I highly recommend this property for an ideal getaway, perfectly suited to hosting large groups ranging from 20 to 40 people.

What a wonderful stay. The staff were super friendly, we even got upgraded without asking to the mountain lodge which was great, The buffet breakfast and dinners were scrumptious, the spa treatment fantastic, and the game drive was super fun. I would definitely visit again, thank you Zebra Lodge!

The food was great. The game vehicle trips to the meals from Bush Lodge was unique/different. Being able to walk around watch the giraffe fairly close. The quiet when the generators are not on. Relaxing and reading a book - not done that for years.

The bush lodge rooms were pretty basic amd small but comfortable enough. The food was great and a decent selection...the food and the vibe at the Shebeen on the Saturday was awesome. The manager, Herbert was very helpful and even replaced a bottle of wine that broke in the room due to a faulty fridge door. The vegetarian extra dishes at the Shebeen were really appreciated and the friendly staff and chefs at the braai made an impact.

The food was always good, above expectation. The breakfast was as expected a full continanetal breakfast and different dishes was available of different days, iow a bit of variation from the one morning to the other. Dinner was also great with a variety of options on different nights. Staff was always very professional and friendly. Location of the lodge is excellent, away from everything, which was great.

This was the second time we stayed at Woodlands. Just 45 minutes from Pretoria, it’s almost unbelievable that you are away from the city and its noise and right in the bush, with all the peace and quiet one can wish for. Comfortable and clean accommodation with all the amenities to be expected. One can either do self-catering or enjoy the restaurants at the other two lodges in the reserve. Felix and Philmon are gracious and attentive hosts. Great value for money and well worth a visit
