The location, between Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park, is excellent. The Lodge has a nice view to the south, and the food and drink is good. The rooms are quiet.

Very pleasantly surprised by the food and drink which are included in nightly cost! Great shrimp scampi, meat & vegetarian lasagna, roasted vegetables for dinner. Excellent fresh berry mix, scrambled egg fritatta with ham, hash browns, hot and cold cereals. John the manager is incredibly hospitable and helpful: he's worked at various National Park lodges for decades. Met a couple from OC who had returned for their 3rd stay. Nuff said.

The food was outstanding in every way :) The lodge was a bit sentimental as we stayed here about 35 years ago when our kids were little and it has changed very little since then…

We love the location, the amenities, the food and all of the vibe of this lodge. It's our go-to location for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon and simply cannot be beat. Great place for a family stay with our toddlers. Great value for a lodge as well, given that all food is included.

The Sequoia National Forest is beautiful. the air is fresh the trees are tall and the sky is blue. We came up from the valley to escape the heat, we wanted the Grant Grove area and lodging is super limited so we pulled the trigger on Montecito Lodge even though the reviews are crazy.
