We also enjoyed the walk to the local restaurants and shops. It is just a cute little town! The housekeeper was very polite and unintrusive. She made the bed, took out the trash, and brought fresh towels daily. The Econolodge is well located with lots of fast food and restaurant options nearby.

Our room was exceptionally clean. The kids loved fishing from the private beach and canoeing. We are definitely making this a yearly vacation spot, but hope to frequent more often!

Everything seemed well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and hope we can return someday. We were in the area to attend events at Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC). It was just under 30 minutes away, so pretty convenient and much better price than other places in the area.
