Staying is this hotel was beautiful experience - hotel is located at the very end of beach and gives an escape from bysy Kiwengwa beach. You can relax at hotel and have some fun at the beach - best of both. Infinity pool and view from it was best feature - no other hotel in Zanzibar has view like Shooting Star. Breakfast was good, staff was very welcoming and helpful. If you want peaceful stay, beautiful views and still be close to activities and local restaurants - this is the best hotel. One additional recommendation - when staying at this hotel - have dinner/lunch at Amour restaurant nearby - you will not regret it.

Beautiful location of a restaurant and tasty food, yogurt for breakfasts was extremely delicious. Special love - fresh coconut water, they had yellow coconuts with a bit sweet taste and we ordered them instead of water. Staff was smiling, attentive and always ready to help with any request.

Sitting in the restaurant one can see to the pool and to the beach at once. The host was very accessible and helpful, and really went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily, the food was good. It was a beautiful, relaxed, and intimate environment, a great place for a family vacation.

The Staff was very nice, food was very good and our room was very nice. There is not much around and the beach is quite small. But in case you enjoy a quiet, relaxing stay, this place is very nice. Of course the hotel also offers tours and transfers. We used a transfer to go on a Quad tour in Kiwengwa which was super nice.
