Maasai Lodge Tanzania – Africa Amini Life is located at the foot of Kilimanjaro and is surrounded by a 200-hectare nature reserve. The lodge offers an outdoor pool and a bio-sauna. The bungalows have solar-powered light and hot water. Each is equipped with a side table, wardrobe and Maasai-style seating. The modern bathroom includes a rain shower and flushing toilet.

What a great lodge to begin a most remarkable journey in Tanzania! The buildings are terrific in Maasai style. But what is the most important thing: it’s run by the Maasai and lovely taken care of! We loved to sit on our terrace and watch Kilimanjaro. We enjoyed the food, drinks and hospitality. We will come again, is gods willing!

The whole time, we felt like we were living experiencing maasi Village, with the exception of the level of subtle luxury and good standard of food. joanneFamily with young children - 9.7Scored 9.7ExceptionalRated exceptional· 57 reviewsthe place is one of a kind. the staff was AMAZING and everyone went above and beyond. the food was delicious and although location isn’t ideal, this place is an experience so don’t expect to stay here and like site see everyday elsewhere, doesn’t make much sense. although they offer a lot of excursions through the lodge. we stayed for 3 nights and 2 days and hiked Kilimanjaro while staying here. we went during a dry season and it was cold but that was to be expected given the lodging style
