Fabulous location, 15 min walk into the city. Great restaurants across the road, but food in Bawn Lodge is amazing. Breakfast was made to order and great choice too. Nice quiet location. Guys on reception were very helpful.

Lovely lodge, the room was very homely and comfortable, great space and very clean - we took our 8 month old so this was important to us.

This is my 3rd visit to Bawn Lodge. Location is excellent for Chester, Cheshire Oaks and the train station is a 5 min walk. Staff are very friendly, food is really good.

Comfortable & spacious rooms. Welcoming and friendly staff. Freshly cooked breakfasts and a good evening menu too. Free car parking and a local bus stop outside the hotel to get into Chester City centre which is about 4 mins away, if you fancy walking it's roughly 10/12 minutes with Chester train station is about 6 mins walk away. Hoole high street opposite the lodge has various independent shops and retailers with a friendly atmosphere.

The room was reasonably comfortable although it was noisy from the plumbing and bar operations on the ground floor. The location was good and easy walking distance to public transport and the Hoole Street shops and restaurants. We had a great meal at an Italian restaurant down around the corner from Bawn Lodge which was one of the nicest meals we'd had for sometime.

Room 8 was very cosy. I loved the location of the lodge, close to small shops, cafes and pubs. Continental breakfast was fine. I would stay again in that room.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Bawn Lodge. It's only a10 min walk into town and yet we slept well as the areas was very quiet. There is a nice heated outdoor area which was full when we were heading into town. Room was very clean and beds comfy. We had tasty breakfasts both mornings.
