El Descanso, lodge a Mindo

Situated in Mindo, El Descanso features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain views. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries.

El Descanso is trully a hidden gem in Mindo. It is composed of two major wooden buildings around a secured yard. We especially loved the architecture of the buildings as it is authentic and lovely to watch. Its pergola where we ate really tasty breakfast is also the best spot to watch birds, hummingbirds and small forest animals. We did not expect that and it was the best spot in Mindo! The accomodation is very well maintained and the owner Rodney was always there willing to help us. We really spent lovely 4 days there and would definitelly like to come back again anytime in the future.

Fantastic situation, it is at only 8 minutes walk from the village Mindo on a flat road.... In Mindo we could rent electric bikes and electric quads to get around.... The suites are surrounded of nature ans we were delighted of the colibris, toucans and colorful butterflies flying around us... the pool and the jacuzzi are very clean and pleasant.... the breakfast was very nice as well

With mountain views, Sacha Urco Lodge y Bosque Protector is situated in Mindo and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden and terrace.

Tony and the staff were great, our bungalow was awesome, and the remote location was relaxing. We cooked some meals and also ate at their restaurant. If you enjoy lots of birds and other wildlife, you'll love it. Town with supplies is about 15 minutes away.

Mindo Lago Hotel Destino, lodge a Mindo

Offering free WiFi and a restaurant, Mindo Lago Hotel Destino is situated in Mindo, 80 km from Quito. Pedro Vicente Maldonado is 39 km away. Free private parking is available on site.

The hotel is a piece of paradise, with individual huts located around a small lake. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive and would do their best to accommodate any wishes. The food was delicious, the fairly priced dinner as well as the included breakfast. A small frog pond makes for a fun atmosphere, and there's a nightly presentation at 6:30pm about the frogs and their habitat. A wonderful getaway about 2 hours outside of the capital Quito.
