this place was absolutely amazing. It was off the beaten trail, not at all touristy. The family who runs it were so sweet and kind and attentive. I do not speak Spanish but one adult son speaks perfect English. they have trails through the rain Forrest that meander along the Rio Celeste. they cooked to order a delicious traditional dinner, then asked what time we would like breakfast and had that ready in the morning. breakfast was included. dinner was very reasonable.

We have stayed in many different places in La fortuna area and for one day we stayed in the tree house in Rio celeste area(limit 100$ per day). We did not want leave. This stay was by far better for a similar price. More comfy bed, clean soft towels, tasty food, nice idea of being elevated while watching birds in trees.
