The Lodge and accommodations have been well situated in the jungle and yet the rooms, and facilities were spotlessly clean and oh so comfortable. The bungalow was also very nice. If you dont have a car you can take the bus to La Palma and then walk about an hour (flat road) to the lodge.

Unique rooms, great food in an amazing setting. This is a great spot for birders to explore Danta's exceptional trails and to explore overall the pensinsula. Well done and we certainly will come again.

You can see how much creativity and love for detail went into constructing all buildings and cabins at Danta Corcovado Lodge. Loved the open bathroom with a wall of green in the back drop (and monkeys). The trails around the lodge gave us a chance to explore nature (the look out tower is amazing at sunrise!). Staff were friendly and the meals were really good, though a limited menu. We really enjoyed out stay and took advantage of a tour into Corcovado national park and bought kayaking at Playa Blanca (nearby) into the mangrove forest.
