This was such a wonderful place to stay! The apartment was clean and smelled absolutely wonderful. The garden was a small paradise with lots of lizards and monkeys and birds in the trees. The pets (little fluffy dog Bruno and cat Gatita) really made our stay perfect for our kids! The owner was very sweet.

My wife and I spent 6 nights at this nature oasis, just a 5 minute walk from the town. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and Andrew, the owner, who has developed this project for 18 years, is full of Costa Rican knowledge and a delightful personality. His wife and son were also a huge help with local tours. In the time we stayed on their 4 acres, we identified 49 native bird species, besides seeing troops of capuchin monkeys and several sloths. Andrew has several different types of rooms to stay in. It is close to the little business section of Puerto Jimenez and also the beach area where there are great restaurants. The airport just shorts walk away. We already made reservations to stay there for 3 weeks next year. We also truly enjoyed conversations with many other travelers from Europe and Canada. This is a very unique nature oasis.

We came to PuertoJimenez to go Birdwatching, which we did with Royer, an excellent Birder. Also, I would recommend the Night Walk, with Emmanuelle in the Osa Interactive Garden. The Dinners & Breakfasts were excellent at the Iguana Lodge Beach Resort. The staff were very friendly, also the owner Lauren! Playing in the surf, with their Boogie Boards was challenging but fun!

We have booked two rooms, so we ended having whole house with kitchen and a terrace for us. Carlos can also pick you from the port at Puerto Jimenez as the lodge is located just few steps away for the Tiger trail. It's so close to Corcovado NP that sometimes you just don't to go to the park, as the animals come to your porch!

Location of Albergue La Laguna is great for nature and bird lovers. Lodge is quite simple but beds were comfy, clean and there were no insects in our rooms. Lodge is surrounded by nature - lagoon, forest, meadows. There are only 4 rooms and there is huge space with hammocks, tables, armchairs to relax. Staff was very friendly and they offered tasty breakfast at reasonable price. It was one of 2-3 greatest accomodation during our month stay in Costa Rica. Remote and 4x4 car access only!

It was marvelous to be in such a remote place experiencing the primary forest. Beautiful views of the Gulfo Dulce and nice birding. Lovely family owns/operates the lodge and we really enjoyed meeting them and learning from them about the area and the wildlife. Also the meals were quite good. So amazing to be somewhere with no light pollution and no road noise.

We stayed 4 nights there and it was great. The lodge is perfectly located, remotely in the middle of the jungle, with a complete privacy and all the jungle noises surrounding. The place is beautiful with the gardens, private beach and really nice and big swimming pool. The lodges are beautiful, spacious with a superbe bathroom. Finally the staff was really friendly and helpful, always here to make our stay special. We highly recommend this place.

This is good accommodation in an excellent location for superb beaches. The owner speaks good English and was very helpful. The wifi is available in the accommodation and is a good standard, being very fast. If you don't want to drive to eat there are good cooking facilities in the accommodation kitchen or a couple of lodges within walking distance have very good meals.
