We stayed in the Blue Wren lodge, it was great. It is a one bedroom house with plenty of space for two, just 5 min walk to the middle of town. Kangaroos and ducks on the front doorstep. The best we have stayed in in Halls Gap.

The whole place was excellent - clean and welcoming and very well appointed. The booking and check-in process was super-easy and seamless. We were very excited on our arrival to see Kangaroos in the back of the property and then two Emus casually stroll by while we were eating dinner. We'll be going back here again.

Comfy lodge with a bed and spa bath with overhead shower and a massive TV on the wall. You probably won't use the TV, because open the patio doors and there is wildlife galore. At one point I counted 18 kangaroos, 3 Cockatoos and a kookubara ( plus some ducks). A great find, good value and helpful owners. Other useful extras included a laundry room with all the liquids etc and nice new washers/ dryers.
