long walk, bring a couple of big bottles of water. entering from the south end its a "shorter" walk to the top but you miss a lot of other spots to see, there is also an elevator that can take people that require it to the top

It's fabulous, but crowded -- try and pick a time when the crowds are less. The climb up is steep, so be prepared (it was May when I was there and warm). The only downside is the stupid selfie takers who barely look around at the wonderful buildings, site, and view. They spoil it for others when then can. Life is more than a camera bucket list ;-)

There used to be a lift in the building giving access to all floors. The apartment is very comfortable with a wonderful bed and a nice sitting area. The bathroom is good with a strong shower and plenty f hot water. The view from the room is amazing you look straight at the Parthenon from the window and at night you can lay in bed and see the Acropolis, wonderfull.

We were able to leave our luggage as we did a tour even though we had checked out. If you are coming the see the Parthenon, Erechtheion and Temple of Athena Nike (all on the acropolis) this is an excellent location. The room with private bathroom and wee kitchen was an excellent setup. Everything was new and contemporary in design. It is very close to the Metro train station, shops and restaurants.

The breakfast on the roof level was very good with a variety of foods and a very nice view that includes the Parthenon. The waitstaff was very good. I was at Airotel Parthenon for business, but I was still able to visit the Acropolis Museum in the few hours I had between work meetings and dinner. I very much appreciated that the hotel is not providing plastic water bottles due to environmental reasons, but instead offers sealed glass bottles and dispensers of filtered water (cool or hot) in each floor.AnnalisaItaly
