Metsovo itself has become too touristy, hard to find the right places toe at and stay. Best stay though was across the mountain at this exclusive 4-5 start hotel when they have special rates. Brilliant including bets breakfast a hotel has ever offered.ArgyAustralia - 10Scored 10

This town has the best priced souvenirs that we have seen. It’s quaint Eat at the large family restaraunt on your right as you first enter the town. The food was amazing. We sat on the window side which looks over some village robes to the distant mountains Loved this town more when w wedding procession left town in the late afternoon with tooting and blessings ringing in the air. Sunday morning we drank fresh orange juice in the cafe in the square while the church over the road rang out its bells. Majestic mountains rising in the background.JillianaAustralia

We rented the fireplace and jacuzzi room, which had a very comfortable bed and a nice mountain view. The breakfast is definitely a highlight, with a huge selection of local and homemade products, and the private parking is necessary in Metsovo. The strongest point though is the hospitality and friendliness of the staff, and Mr Giorgos was always there to help with anything, even providing us with free drycleaning after we had a ski accident involving lots of mud!GGeorgiosGreece

Metsovo is a charming small mountain village that, with the snow capped mountains surrounding it (even in early April), had such a great alpine feel. There was a nice open fireplace in the lobby sitting area, with a real log fire. Breakfast was great. And the staff, mostly family, was very helpful and gracious. We will visit again…..maybe staying a bit longer to take in the nice mountain hiking.

The owners were amazing and very helpful with their suggestions on how best to spend the time in Metsovo and round it. Breakfast was great and there was free parking. As a family we enjoyed our stay there very much and on our next opportunity will definitely go back.

The view of the mountains from the balcony was fantastic and the room looked and felt luxurious. The property is located at the end of the street, away from the center of downtown, so it is nice and quiet. The lobby offers a beautiful spot to enjoy a glass of wine. The owners even lit the center fireplace for us to enjoy.
