Very Spanish.
Very Spanish. Surrounded by an amazing collection of building from effectively the middle ages and the Renaissance. Trujillo is a better stop for me than Cordoba and is worth a stop of 2 or 3 nights. Get accommodation in the town.

The apartment was spacious over three floors with good furnishings and equipment. It was very convenient to get to the local Plaza Mayor but it was set in a quiet and peaceful location where the bird chorus at the break of dawn was a joy to hear. The Monfrague National Park is only an hour away.

The manager went to great lengths to help us find our way when we got lost in the maze of Trujillo to the extent of coming out on foot to Plaza Mayor to lead us to the apartment. Lovely old building. Great view from the terrace. Well equipped kitchen. The stairs to the bedroom were a bit of a challenge especially at night as the bathroom is downstairs.MurraySpain
