The Catacombs
Once the tombs of thousands, this subterranean Roman maze takes you into the depths of the city’s complex history as you’re guided through one dark alley after another. Eerie and intriguing, these tunnels have witnessed Gothic pillages and provided a resting place for popes, saints and martyrs alike.

Avoid Munich during this festival, it is chaos, crazy over priced accommodation, food and booze, no customer service in restaurants, rude, pushy staff. Left early and spent time in the airport instead. Probably a lovely experience at different time of year. Loads of drunks, very loud.

Very long walk from train station to Oktoberfest.
Very long walk from train station to Oktoberfest. Beer very expensive. Bus, team and train good. Julian's/Bed Kelly's bar very good. Beer price reasonable. Sunday karaoke brilliant. I sang Let it be and I want you to want me by Cheap trick. Got huge round of applause, people shaking my hand saying very well sung. Made me proud and happy.

The place of the Oktoberfest. But not only.
The place of the Oktoberfest. But not only. On other times you can have a great walk partially in shade with wide views. People are exercising here in the everyday life. E.g. inline skating, running and bicycling.

Great location close to the main train station and Theresienwiese. Fast checkin/checkout, nice staff.
Rooms and facilities very clean.
Breakfast was good as well.
Very good value.
Very nice, newly renovated room with kitchenette, a great bed, and banquette with a table and a small balcony overlooking the street. Theresienwiese subway stop was just at the end of the street and you're just a couple of blocks from the Hauptbahnof. When I couldn't figure out how to use the stove properly, they sent up a maintenance person right away to help show me how it worked. Great, attentive service from the front desk.
Very good location in walking distance to main station and Theresienwiese as well as directly opposite shopping centre Forum Schwanthalerhöhe. Very competitive price.
Great central location close to the Hauptbanhof, numerous other modes of transportation and city center for places we wanted to walk such as the Theresienwiese for Oktoberfest. Plenty of breakfast/coffee and dining options around but most were middle-eastern or Asian, which we didn't mind, especially the late night Döner Kebab stands! Lots of places a short walk or train ride away. We had a good time talking to the bartender Kristofer a few times as he had a lot of knowledge to share about Munich and things to do.
this hotel is what a budget hotel supposed to be and some. All in all it is a small room with a bath but what else do you need? Location is good, it is very near to the U-bahn stop "theresienwiese". You can walk to the city center too. Breakfast is more than enough. I really enjoyed it. There was no noise during the night so no disturbance during your sleep. It all checked my boxes for a pleasant stay. There is a shopping mall right across the hotel so you can buy anything you want easily.
