It is a gated community, therefore very safe. Great view on Cerro Santa Lucia. Excellent location: Cerro Santa Lucia is 2 minutes away, a huge Lider supermarket in the same block, a bunch of good restaurants and a Starbucks on Merced street, and just 3 blocks from the center of the city, Plaza de Armas. The hosts, David and Jaime, are friendly, very helpful, and a pleasure to talk to.

Though Spanish-speaking only, they'd do anything to fulfill the guests' wishes. After an early arrival, we were offered luggage storage and use of bathroom (early check-in was also an option - for a fee). When we arrived in the evening wet from the rain and almost frozen, we were served hot tea right in our room. Also, the hotel is very centrally located, close to a metro station and about 15 minutes of walking from Plaza de Armas.
