Great views of John's and the harbour - on a clear day! You can walk from Quidi Vidi or from the harbour on the North Head Trail, or walk / drive up the road. Nice cafe in the visitor's centre.PatriciaUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

The area between Quidi Vidi and Signal Hill is riddled with great trails. Ladies Lookout was special (look for the bald eagle nest). Take water and maybe food as you may (like us) end up hiking more than planned - well worth it.

The breakfast provided was very good and plentiful. The host was very helpful and personable. We really enjoyed talking to him and hearing his stories. The Inn is in walking distance to downtown. We also walked to Signal Hill, although this may be a bit far for some people. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Location could not have been better. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the room was clean and great to stay in, and the breakfast food laid out was neat and tasty.
