The Mercure Hotel at the top of the mountain is a great place to stay, very friendly. Try it for a week then move to one of the many other hotels in Al Ain. At the very top of the mountain, just a little way up from the hotel, there is a viewing area where you can see Oman on one side and Al Ain on the other. Amazing at any time but spectacular at night. The road up (and down) the mountain is first class, not a pothole in sight (unlike in the UK where the roads seem to resemble potholes joined up with some tar).LorimaeUnited Kingdom

At the foothills of Jebel Hafeet, the dome tents were a wonderful peaceful escape! The room was spotless. Do try the DIY BBQ as it was a lot of fun and great tasting food. Do include breakfast as it was tasty and plentiful.

We booked a room with twin bed and the size is bigger than I expected. We really slept well. For the breakfast buffet, there are a lot of choices available. Food tasted nice. The breakfast was very nice, very sumptuous. I super like the omelet. The Chef made my omelet super cheesy, a little spicy and with lots of vegetable bits. The Front Desk and Housekeeping Staff were very nice and truly hospitable. I truly had a wonderful stay!

The villa was equipped with all facitlies. It has electric stove for cooking, filter for drinking water, seperate Baq Bq grill with light. The gill was very clean, seprate parking.
