I told the owner that for me it is like a 5-star hotel in Guesthouse format! There is everything, very clean environment! the snacks are also excellent if you are a little hungry... a quiet environment perfect for those who want to prepare for the Denali expedition or for those looking for a comfortable environment! the owner is super helpful and always kind! Very good WiFi, very comfortable bed, kitchen available, nice shared bathroom always clean. there is also the possibility of washing and drying your clothes.

Having a work orented layover, and finding the hotels of the Homer municipality mostly booked I inadvertently stumbled upon a luxury accommodation with a quiet comfortable ambiance and a breathtaking Alaskan ocean view. With elevation, the location gives a commanding view of the Homer spit, Kachemak bay, and the mountains and glaciers of the opposing side, and yet still low enough to be subjected to the steady droning of surf crashing and the crisp cool of the oceans salt air. The seaward entries have double doors that open and expose the master bedroom to this outdoor atmosphere and direct to the hot tub and deck lounge area. For feeling remote it can be hard to believe how close the location is to town center, and the end of the spit a pleasant bike ride away. With first rate amenities the sweets are staged to accommodate couples looking to have a few quality moments for themselves. Although traveling by myself I found the peace and quiet rejuvenating and I left my stay renewed as if I had been privy to a small vacation as opposed to a layover for work. I would recommend this stay to any Alaskan couple as is most definitely an experience worth the investment. I myself would like to return one day to share the experience with another. I thank the patrons for creating an opportunity and sharing a piece of their Alaskan dream.

Steller Inn features accommodation in Seward, Alaska. Free WiFi is available. At the inn, every room is fitted with a desk. Each room comes with free toiletries, while some rooms include garden views.... The location was beautiful with the balcony out back and looking out onto the stream. The room was exceptionally clean and really well thought out. The beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Set in Seward, Resurrection Lodge on the Bay features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. We stayed in the yurt on the property. It was wonderful! Very nicely appointed and comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning.

Facing the beachfront in Clam Gulch, Clam Gulch Lodge features a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Pam & Gary are absolutely great hosts and the breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed being their guests. We almost felt a bit sad that we only stayed for one night.

Arctic Dragonfly Inn is located in Healy. The inn provides both free WiFi and free private parking. Guest rooms at the inn are equipped with a seating area. Beautiful cabin, nicely decorated, new and super clean. Very comfy beds and good towels. Fridge, stove, Krueger coffee machine , BBQ and toaster. No TV. Good wifi. Super convenient location, Healy has all the services and it’s 15-minute drive to Denali Visitor Center. Easy parking, quiet area, there are only 2 cabins. Some traffic noise from the Highway, not a problem at night. Easy self check-in. Grocery, gas, restaurants within a 2-minute drive. Coffee shop next door. It’s the first place in Alaska that it’s worthy the money. Totally recommended.

Offering an on-site restaurant with complimentary made-to-order breakfast, Best Western Grandma's Feather Bed is located in Juneau, Alaska. I have stayed here several times now and this is my number 1 choice when visiting Juneau. The property is a unique treasure. It’s quiet, clean and the location is very convenient. Parking is so easy. The staff is always very kind and professional. The shuttle is very dependable. Just a really great place to stay.
