Very nice evening BBQ party with a good selection of meat and greens, it was possible to buy alcohol at the facility! Very nice nearby garden and ceramics school shop & museum. Beautiful nature! Very well preserved main building, authentic architecture. Free private parking is available at the venue!

Dit hotel ligt op slechts 10 minuten lopen van het kasteel van Borgholm op het eiland Öland. Het beschikt over een grote tuin, ideaal om te ontspannen in deze rustige omgeving. We have spent the most wonderful days and nights at Drotting Victorias Hotell & Vilohem. Already upon arrival, our host welcomed us very warmly and made us feel comfortable, welcome and at home. The place is peacefully located on the stunning island of Öland, amidst fields, nature and with the current Royal residence Solliden and the Borgholm Slottsruin as neighbours. Guests will admire and love the rich history of the building and surroundings, as we did very much. The place, with its interior, just breathes this royal atmosphere. We spent our (3) nights in the annex next to the main building, with a very spacious bedroom and ballroom sized bathroom. All luxury was there, so was the peace and quiet needed for a good rest after days of exploring Öland. The menus offered are very very tasty and the service is just excellent, from early morning till late evening. We cannot thank the staff enough and wish our travel schedule had allowed us more time on the premises too, as during Summer, afternoon tea is also offered on specific days, which must be amazing to have in this setting. Something to go back for, as this place captured our hearts and left a lasting memory. Thank you for everything!!
