Evening meal was usually very good, served in a simple but elegant room with linen tablecloths and fresh flowers. Lots of gluten free items, and the hotel makes their own gluten free bread! This hotel was very clean. Our room was small, but the fun of this place was experiencing a hotel that seems from a bygone era- a refreshing return to genteel civility. We loved this place and the entire professional staff. Staff will cheerfully help you with any travel needs. And do book the massage with Petra Steiner. This stay rejuvenated us for the rest of our busy travels.

Situated next to Storsjön Lake, this inn is less than 2 km from central Forsbacka and 15 minutes’ drive from Sandviken. It offers a restaurant with a bar and furnished terrace. Johan was a delight, he went out of his way to make us comfy. . The property was historic and very interesting. The surrounding area was gorgeous.
