Estalagem Corte do Norte is located in Ponta Delgada, 40.5 km from Funchal and 7 km from São Vicente. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The location is good, specially if you own a car, if you don't it is more complicated. You can use this place as a good base to explore the north part. Rooms are tidy and well cleaned every day. You just can't find a better host than Paulo, he can give 1000 ideas on nearby trails, inform you about the transport, even prepare the breakfast when you have early hikes in the morning. Set in the western part of Madeira, this brand new accommodation was built on the grounds of an old sugar cane factory. View on ocean from balcony really nice. Restaurant good food with good wines. Breakfast food quality at top level. Location with car is ok (island anyway is small;) - if w/o car check how to get (did not notice supermarkets near). Quiet! as inside so outside. Good, soundproof and large rooms (new and modern). P.s. Selection of tea in the room could be wider + update them when see guests drinks it ;)

Inn & Art Madeira has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Caniço. Located around 1.2 km from Reis Magos Beach, the inn with free WiFi is also 11 km away from Marina do Funchal. the view over the sea is amazing
