El Acapulco Motor Inn se encuentra a solo 2 minutos a pie del lago Taupo y cuenta con habitaciones equipadas con aire acondicionado, conexión de wifi gratis, TV vía satélite de pantalla plana y... We appreciated that our heat pump was turned on before our arrival. The spa bath was lovely and I appreciated the natural bath products. The cooked breakfast was well presented and delicious. We were given a free newspaper. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

El National Park Alpine Lodge fue construido en 1912 y ofrece alojamiento económico de estilo mochilero en un edificio histórico encantador, conexión wifi gratis en las zonas comunes y zona de salón... Such a cosy lodge, the perfect spot to relax after a long day tramping/skiing/exploring the national park. I've been travelling and staying in hostels for the past few months and so decided to treat myself to a private room at the Alpine Lodge and I was so glad I did...the beds are made with a fleece mattress cover, sheets and pillow slips and this made for one of the comfiest nights sleep of my life - I never wanted to get out of bed! Decor is a little dated but this really led to me feeling more cosy and at home. The kitchen is huge and really well kitted out and clean. All facilities are clean and functional and the little shop adjoining the lodge is great for food bits. Thanks to the lovely staff for making my stay at the NP so memorable!
