We like the atmosphere in this family guesthouse. The guesthouse is calm, clean with a direct access to the sandy beach. The owner and his wife are very helpful, patient and flexible in helping us to book a ferry/Taxi. All the staff is polite, friendly and always present at the guesthouse. Surfing boards, surfing lesson and scooter are available. The views are amazing directly on the ocean and the jungle. The food is fresh, handmade and delicious.

Dolin Cottage er staðsett við Sorake-strönd í Botohilisorake í Suður-Nias. Öll herbergin eru með verönd með sjávarútsýni. Allar einingar gistikráarinnar eru með loftkælingu, ísskáp og setusvæði. We loved everything about our stay. The bungalow is much better than in the pictures. Super cozy and comfy. They also have a great terrace facing the sea. Dolin and his family are also very kind and friendly and make you feel very welcomed. We loved everything about the guest house and would surely be staying here again!

We had a really great time at Indra Valley Inn and for sure recommend this place. Obiwan was great at communicating with us before we arrived and made sure we had a nice stay. The jungle trek we organised through Indra was also amazing - we had a great guide Imran who was very knowledgeable and the delicious food in the jungle was a bonus. Obiwan also helped us organise transport and other day tours - anything you need really. The location of Indra Valley was also really good - far away enough from the main part of the village to spot monkeys and birds from the balcony and restaurant. A nice place to chill out while not trekking

Very relaxing and beautiful environment to unwind a bit. The staff is truly exceptional and willing to help you organize any upcoming trip etc.

Penginapan Terdekat (Near) er staðsett í Bukittinggi, 2,5 km frá Hatta-höllinni og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði og verönd. Everything as expected according to price paid :) I would not recommend to people who use seating toilet, here only got squat toilet. The host is very kind.

Rumah Nalu brimbrettacamp er staðsett í Krui, 1,5 km frá Walur-strönd og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og bar. Mylan, Megan and their staff were exceptional. They were all so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. It was a beautiful setting, the food was delicious and the area was perfect being away from the main road and town. Having access to scooter hire at the property made it so easy.

Gististaðurinn Stay KULTURA er staðsettur í Banda Aceh, Súmötrua-svæðinu, í 6,6 km fjarlægð frá Harapan Bangsa-leikvanginum. Nearest hotel to the airport. Good for 1 night before an early flight.

Beach Guest House er staðsett í Maninjau, 29 km frá Gadang-klukkuturninum og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og verönd. As a backpacker I stayed here in 1993 and - after more than 30 years - returning to Beach Guesthouse felt like stepping back into the good old nineties. Same beautiful spot right at the lake, same amiable family that runs the place and still the same positive vibe. It was great to be back here. The rooms are also still very basic, so if you're looking for luxury, this isn't a hotel for you. However, if you are looking for warm hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere in an idyllic setting, then this might be the place you are dreaming of. The adjacent Bagoes Café 'n' Resto serves delicious food, delicious juices and cold beers. And as you gaze across the calm waters of Lake Maninjau, you realize that life isn't so bad after all... Staff is super friendly and can help to arrange your onward transport. Motorbikes and bicycles are for rent if you want to go around the lake. Good to know that the lake is a popular getaway for local tourists and day trippers at weekends, so it can get a bit more crowdy (and noisy) in the guesthouse. During the week you probably have the place almost to yourself and it’s just peace and harmony.
