We like the atmosphere in this family guesthouse. The guesthouse is calm, clean with a direct access to the sandy beach. The owner and his wife are very helpful, patient and flexible in helping us to book a ferry/Taxi. All the staff is polite, friendly and always present at the guesthouse. Surfing boards, surfing lesson and scooter are available. The views are amazing directly on the ocean and the jungle. The food is fresh, handmade and delicious.

El Dolin Cottage está situado frente a la playa de Sorake, en Botohilisorake, South Nias. Todas las habitaciones tienen terraza con vistas al mar. We loved everything about our stay. The bungalow is much better than in the pictures. Super cozy and comfy. They also have a great terrace facing the sea. Dolin and his family are also very kind and friendly and make you feel very welcomed. We loved everything about the guest house and would surely be staying here again!

No aceptamos pedidos de habitaciones si los huéspedes han pedido trekking por la selva con otra empresa, por alguna razón, nuestra habitación sólo está disponible para los huéspedes que reservan... Imposible separar la estancia en el hotel, que en mi caso fue muy agradable, con la experiencia del trekking en la jungla, que fue realmente maravillosa. El hotel es sencillo, pero muy confortable, con todo lo necesario para sentirte a gusto. Obiwan se preocupa por todo, desde el principio hasta el final. Si además tenéis la suerte de contar con los servicios del guía Firman en la jungla, como fue mi caso, entonces seguro que la experiencia será insuperable, porque él no solamente te ayudará a ver orangutanes sino a sentir y entender la jungla. Gracias Firman, lo pasé genial, no te olvidaré! 🙏 Ah! y no os perdáis el rafting. Deseando repetir!

Air Manis Hillside Villa Cafe & Resto está en Padang, a 17 min a pie de Playa Air Manis, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. The hotel is in an idyllic location and the rooms are spacious, clean and well put together. Rivaldi F. G. really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. He offered us good advice. Nothing was too much trouble.

MB Camp Singkil tiene bicicletas gratis, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Gosongtelaga. El alojamiento tiene una cafetería y un restaurante que sirve cocina asiática. Very relaxing and beautiful environment to unwind a bit. The staff is truly exceptional and willing to help you organize any upcoming trip etc.

Penginapan Terdekat (Near) se encuentra en Bukittinggi, a 2,5 km de Palacio Hatta, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. Everything as expected according to price paid :) I would not recommend to people who use seating toilet, here only got squat toilet. The host is very kind.

Rumah Nalu surf camp se encuentra en Krui, a 18 min a pie de Playa Walur, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Ofrece bar y zona de playa privada. Mylan, Megan and their staff were exceptional. They were all so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. It was a beautiful setting, the food was delicious and the area was perfect being away from the main road and town. Having access to scooter hire at the property made it so easy.

Stay KULTURA está en Banda Aceh, en la región de Sumatra, a 6,6 km de Estadio Harapan Bangsa. Nearest hotel to the airport. Good for 1 night before an early flight.

Beach Guest House se encuentra en Maninjau, a 29 km de Torre del reloj Jam Gadang, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. As a backpacker I stayed here in 1993 and - after more than 30 years - returning to Beach Guesthouse felt like stepping back into the good old nineties. Same beautiful spot right at the lake, same amiable family that runs the place and still the same positive vibe. It was great to be back here. The rooms are also still very basic, so if you're looking for luxury, this isn't a hotel for you. However, if you are looking for warm hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere in an idyllic setting, then this might be the place you are dreaming of. The adjacent Bagoes Café 'n' Resto serves delicious food, delicious juices and cold beers. And as you gaze across the calm waters of Lake Maninjau, you realize that life isn't so bad after all... Staff is super friendly and can help to arrange your onward transport. Motorbikes and bicycles are for rent if you want to go around the lake. Good to know that the lake is a popular getaway for local tourists and day trippers at weekends, so it can get a bit more crowdy (and noisy) in the guesthouse. During the week you probably have the place almost to yourself and it’s just peace and harmony.
