The guesthouse is calm, clean with a direct access to the sandy beach. The owner and his wife are very helpful, patient and flexible in helping us to book a ferry/Taxi. All the staff is polite, friendly and always present at the guesthouse. Surfing boards, surfing lesson and scooter are available. The views are amazing directly on the ocean and the jungle. The food is fresh, handmade and delicious.

El Dolin Cottage está ubicado frente a la playa de Sorake, en Botohilisorake, South Nias. Todas las habitaciones tienen terraza con vistas al mar. We loved everything about our stay. The bungalow is much better than in the pictures. Super cozy and comfy. They also have a great terrace facing the sea. Dolin and his family are also very kind and friendly and make you feel very welcomed. We loved everything about the guest house and would surely be staying here again!

No aceptamos pedidos de habitaciones si los huéspedes han pedido trekking por la selva con otra empresa, por alguna razón, nuestra habitación sólo está disponible para los huéspedes que reservan... Imposible separar la estancia en el hotel, que en mi caso fue muy agradable, con la experiencia del trekking en la jungla, que fue realmente maravillosa. El hotel es sencillo, pero muy confortable, con todo lo necesario para sentirte a gusto. Obiwan se preocupa por todo, desde el principio hasta el final. Si además tenéis la suerte de contar con los servicios del guía Firman en la jungla, como fue mi caso, entonces seguro que la experiencia será insuperable, porque él no solamente te ayudará a ver orangutanes sino a sentir y entender la jungla. Gracias Firman, lo pasé genial, no te olvidaré! 🙏 Ah! y no os perdáis el rafting. Deseando repetir!

Penginapan Terdekat (Near) se encuentra en Bukittinggi, a 2,5 km de Palacio Hatta, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis y terraza. Everything as expected according to price paid :) I would not recommend to people who use seating toilet, here only got squat toilet. The host is very kind.

El Rumah Nalu surf camp se encuentra en Krui, a pocos pasos de la playa de Labuhan Jukung Krui, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, estacionamiento privado gratuito, terraza y bar. Mylan, Megan and their staff were exceptional. They were all so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. It was a beautiful setting, the food was delicious and the area was perfect being away from the main road and town. Having access to scooter hire at the property made it so easy.

El Beach Guest House se encuentra en Maninjau y ofrece restaurante, salón compartido, jardín y wifi gratis en todas las instalaciones. Ofrece habitaciones familiares y terraza. As a backpacker I stayed here in 1993 and - after more than 30 years - returning to Beach Guesthouse felt like stepping back into the good old nineties. Same beautiful spot right at the lake, same amiable family that runs the place and still the same positive vibe. It was great to be back here. The rooms are also still very basic, so if you're looking for luxury, this isn't a hotel for you. However, if you are looking for warm hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere in an idyllic setting, then this might be the place you are dreaming of. The adjacent Bagoes Café 'n' Resto serves delicious food, delicious juices and cold beers. And as you gaze across the calm waters of Lake Maninjau, you realize that life isn't so bad after all... Staff is super friendly and can help to arrange your onward transport. Motorbikes and bicycles are for rent if you want to go around the lake. Good to know that the lake is a popular getaway for local tourists and day trippers at weekends, so it can get a bit more crowdy (and noisy) in the guesthouse. During the week you probably have the place almost to yourself and it’s just peace and harmony.

El Yulia Resort se encuentra en Sabang, a 500 metros de la playa de Iboih, y ofrece alojamiento frente a la playa, restaurante, jardín y zona de playa privada. The staff were super friendly! The location is great and the rooms, too!
