Great tea and coffee with fresh milk in the room. The food was exceptional (we had dinner and breakfast) and hosts were friendly and helpful throughout. We thought it was great value for what’s on offer.

Situated in Swindon, 7 km from Coate Water Country Park, Helen Browning's Royal Oak is a pet-friendly, dining pub with rooms and boasts a children's playground and terrace. Comfortable room and bed. Great interior design. Wonderful local-produce breakfast. The staff and especially Tim were very friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved the separate guest area and the little shop 🙂

What a lovely place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The people and the service are amazing, 10+ out of 10. Not only did they help get our luggage up the stairs, they found umbrellas for us to use on our outings and were there at every turn for anything we might need. The bar staff are super friendly and the cook was amazing. Breakfast is the best I've had, and there were several menu items to choose from. We stayed in the small apartment and really enjoyed having a separate area to watch TV and relax. All in all, we loved our stay here. We would like to return again some day and spend more time with these wonderful people. They truly are the best! ❤️

Dreamy is the one word that comes to mind. The whole property is quaint and just beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak. From the rooms to the location. We loved everything. The breakfast was delicious and made with quality ingredients. The rooms were perfect for our needs. Clean and beautifully decorated. Coming from a different country we did have some trouble with internet service but I think It has to do with our roaming service. We can't wait to return.

The Pear Tree Inn is situated just 20 minutes' drive away from Bath, less than 10 minutes' drive from the National Trust village of Lacock and the market town of Bradford on Avon. The place is so pretty, the staff so friendly, spotlessly clean and staff working hard to keep it that way. the food was also excellent. We stayed in the Anjou room and can recommend it.
