From the minute I arrived all staff were very attentive and welcoming, there was a good amount of free parking even with elctric charging although the charger did not fit my car. Rooms nicely decorated, shower toiletries lovely, food wwas amazing breakfast and dinner. Beer served in chilled glasses excellent!
So much better and cheaper than the premier inn down the road!
good breakfast and dinner The room was very good. The reception staff were extremely good and helpful/
At £55 a night I didn’t expect much but the hotel doesn’t reflect the photos. The room was warm clean and comfortable but in need of some tlc. The hotel has been on generator for at least 3 months but the noise didn’t bother us. We were not asked if we wanted to book breakfast or dinner but used the bar which is expensive. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from an Harvester. If I’d paid more I would be upset but all in all it is value and once would have been amazing. We stayed in the Stable block.
I love this old inn and its great breakfast in a pub going back to Shakespeare’s time.
The guest house was pleasant & our room simple but comfortable. The host,Richard, was very welcoming. Breakfast was good with GF options & it was very nice to have table service. The parking was also a bonus. We appreciated the coffee/tea in the room.
Great bedroom dinner and breakfast
The room was a good size, the bed comfortable and the dinner excellent.
The history of the hotel and Inn, in addition to the location, a short walk to places of historical interest. We enjoyed the feel of the hotel and pub amenities. Everyone we came into contact with were very kind and friendly
We loved the character and charm of this historic inn. It has been beautifully updated without taking away the charm. We also really enjoyed the food! We had both dinner & breakfast during our stay and the quality was the very best! Loved everything about this inn❤
