John even let us use his PC for a few minutes to accomplish a work task. We asked him if it was hard to run an inn, and he said no, "you just look after people" in his charming Scottish accent. 11/10 would recommend :)

Set in the village of Roslin, The Original Rosslyn Inn is an idyllic village inn, just 8 miles from Edinburgh’s city centre. This family-run property has a traditional pub and a fine dining... The staff went above expectations to insure we had a great stay. Restaurant was exceptional. Neighborhood Lounge and bar was on premise. Bus stop at hotel entrance. Loved the thick walls and breakfast room decor. But the staff is what makes this an excellent place to stay. Location is about twelve miles out of Edinburgh and is in walking distance to Roslyn Chapel.
