The food is amazing, it deserves a 7 star review, real veggies cooked to perfection, the signature pie is absolutely to die for, as for the desserts yummy, the owner and his staff do a great job and a little hint you may meet a celebrity there.

John, the owner, and the rest of his staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs during our stay. We landed at The Golf Tavern after a long journey from the states, and it was the perfect place to get settled before our 3 week trip around Scotland. Close to Edinburgh without paying Edinburgh prices. Experience the local culture in the pub at night with a pool table and darts. John even let us use his PC for a few minutes to accomplish a work task. We asked him if it was hard to run an inn, and he said no, "you just look after people" in his charming Scottish accent. 11/10 would recommend :)

Set in the village of Roslin, The Original Rosslyn Inn is an idyllic village inn, just 8 miles from Edinburgh’s city centre. This family-run property has a traditional pub and a fine dining... The staff went above expectations to insure we had a great stay. Restaurant was exceptional. Neighborhood Lounge and bar was on premise. Bus stop at hotel entrance. Loved the thick walls and breakfast room decor. But the staff is what makes this an excellent place to stay. Location is about twelve miles out of Edinburgh and is in walking distance to Roslyn Chapel.

The West Port Hotel is a traditional Scottish pub and restaurant in the historic town of Linlithgow, West Lothian. It offers en suite rooms with satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi. A very comfortable bed. The bathroom is very clean. The hotel has a wonderful vibe overall. Breakfast also makes you fueled and happy. Nothing I could wish from a hotel. The staff has upgraded a room for free. Well, coming back to Linlithgow I definitely will stay here.
