The meals were a great size and delicious, well priced too. A good choice of ales. The village itself is really nice, with plenty of old world charm. We drove to the Harry Potter Studio Tour. Not far away.

The lady who prepared our room went above and beyond. She really took the time to make sure we felt looked after. The pub was closed for an event for a few hours and she even came down to make sure we weren't hungry and offered us to have some food made up especially. I wish I'd asked her name as it's rare to get service like that these days! Beautiful room and location too. We will certainly be staying again!
