The staff was extremely friendly. When I arrived too late to eat dinner in their restaurant, they called another restaurant for me and arranged a reservation. They also upgraded my room due to availability without me asking. They were wonderful.

This family-run hotel is situated in Newton Stewart, a charming Scottish town on the River Cree. With free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking on site, it is around 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre.... Location was great. Plenty of off street parking. Rooms were great. The atmosphere at the inn during the evening was fantastic. We all had a great stay

The hotel is more than 300 years old so it was lovely staying somewhere that holds a small amount of history.
