Situated in Gatehouse of Fleet, 49 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club, Masonic Arms Gatehouse has a number of amenities including a garden, a restaurant and a bar. This was the best hotel we stayed at our whole vacation! Beautiful rooms with unique decor and lots of details that made our stay comfortable. Excellent staff, lovely meals, walkable location.

The Harbour Inn features a garden, restaurant, a bar and tennis court in Garlieston. The property is non-smoking and is set a few steps from Garlieston Beach. Beautiful location, lovely room with thick carpets, a comfortable bed, and a decent sized shower, and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. The on-site bar and restaurant were friendly and welcoming.

Set in Kirkcowan, Craighlaw Arms Boutique B&B has a garden, shared lounge, bar, and free WiFi. The inn features family rooms. At the inn, rooms are fitted with a desk and a flat-screen TV. easy to feel comfortable and at home. very clean. would recommend Great location as a home base to explore the area. Dark skies and fun star viewing too.

Situated 11 km from Caerlaverock Castle, The Farmers Inn offers 2-star accommodation in Dumfries and has a terrace, a bar and water sports facilities. The cottage was beautiful and super comfortable. The pub food was delicious, as was the breakfast and the staff were warm and welcoming.

Situated in Sandhead, 200 metres from Ringdoo Sands Beach, Tigh Na Mara Hotel has a number of amenities including a shared lounge, a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi. The location to the beach! The pub a few doors down! The breakfast was generous and delicious while the service (Ian) was superb!

Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet, once inscribed a window at this 16th-century hotel in Moffat’s centre. The Black Bull Inn was simply lovely.

This family-run hotel is situated in Newton Stewart, a charming Scottish town on the River Cree. With free Wi-Fi throughout and free parking on site, it is around 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre.... There was no breakfast, given the price. It was very easy to go to Sainsbury's and buy some items. What an excellent base to have a look at Galloway and it was very easy to find my way around. I need to return and explore the surroundings even more.

The Crown Hotel is situated in Newton Stewart in picturesque Wigtownshire, in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway. It features a restaurant and elegant rooms with original features. The service was unmatched, every member of staff were helpful, efficient and friendly, they couldn't do enough for you. The restaurant menu was great - a lot of variety especially with the specials menu changing frequently too. Breakfast was also a winner, continental and a full Scottish breakfast if you wanted (you could pick as many or as less items as wanted). The hotel is more than 300 years old so it was lovely staying somewhere that holds a small amount of history.

The Nithsdale Hotel is situated in the heart of Sanquhar on the A76, halfway between Dumfries and Kilmarnock. Free WiFi is provided throughout the hotel and free parking is available at rear. Freshly remodeled, excellent food, very helpful and welcoming staff.

This unique and friendly hotel dates back to the 1700s. It offers good home-cooked food, free Wi-Fi and 8 refurbished en suite rooms. Room : clean and comfortable Food : breakfast great quality, evening meal : fabulous! Already booked for next year!!
