Comfortable and quiet room with good en-suite facilities. The property has been recently renovated to a good standard. Audrey and Mark were excellent hosts, the food was great and as a bonus they had a fine real ale at the bar.

Situated in Stirling, 25 km from Lake of Menteith, Fletcher's Restaurant Bar & Rooms features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything about Fletcher’s was fantastic. Close to the train and easy walk to the castle. Large, comfortable rooms. Excellent food for both dinner and the included breakfast. Staff (Stewart & Jamie) are professional and friendly - definite assets. Highly recommend this property.

On the east shore of Loch Lomond, this award-winning family-run country inn is constructed from locally quarried slate and offers a perfect tranquil location for a romantic or relaxing break. We have not eaten dinner. The restaurant is very popular. You need to reserve in advance for a table. They offer a variety of very good beers. The buffet for breakfast is good. The rooms look excellent.

We loved everything about the clachan inn, the staff friendly, room and beds very comfy, food excellent and location perfect .

Situated in Polmont and with Hopetoun House reachable within 20 km, The Blackbull Inn Polmont features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a bar. Our room was lovely- spacious and comfortable. The triple room could comfortably sleep 6 as there was a king bed (actually just two twins put together) and two sleeper sofas, making this great for a family. We arrived far past typical check-in since we booked last minute, but a woman helped us right away and brought extra bedding for the sleeper sofa. The sofas were also deep enough to for one person to sleep on without pulling the mattresses out since the back cushions are removable. The room was very clean, and it had been tastefully renovated. There were charming historic details like built-in bookshelves and dormer windows which let in lots of light. There was also a kettle with plenty of options for hot drinks as well as a mini-fridge- the only accommodation on our trip to have one!

The Inn at Kippen features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Kippen. Built in 18th century, this 3-star inn is within 10 km of Lake of Menteith and 34 km of Mugdock Country Park. The staff was sweet and very helpful. The breakfast is amazing and worth a visit all on its own! We enjoyed our time and felt the Inn was a great place from which to experience Stirling, The Trossachs and the area.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our arrival was delayed and they kept the kitchen open late so we could order dinner, which was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and to-order.

Situated in the heart of Falkirk, The Orchard Hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, free parking, and a bistro restaurant. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It's a bit utilitarian, but for a place to stay while visiting London, it's great. The price was also reasonable. The hotel is a short walk to the Earls Court tube station and there are lots of food options nearby. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was a wonderful place to stay and will definitely be at the top of our list when visiting London again.
