Situated in Henlow, The Crown Pub, Dining & Rooms offers free onsite parking and a beer garden. The pub offers rooms with free WiFi, which are situated within converted stables. This was a stop gap the night before going to Champneys. It ended up being an event in its self. Staff were lovely, breakfast delicous and the room super cute, comfy with lots of extra detail. Would come back just to stay as it was so lovely..

Located in Whipsnade, 18 km from Woburn Abbey, Old Hunters Lodge provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Cozy, well decorated room with comfy bed. Bathroom Modern. We also liked the pub area as it was remodeled but kept the ancient beams and atmosphere of 17th century. Parts of it remained as wad. We had a great meal and hearty breakfast. All staff were excellent. It was easy to fi nd and so convenient to Whipsnade attractions.

Opposite a Grade I listed church, The Knife & Cleaver is a AA 4 Gold Star award winning guest house. Brilliant staff. Clean room. Great food. Stayed there 3 times.

This family-run pub and inn is situated in Bedford city centre, within 5 minutes’ walk of the picturesque embankment and the cultural Castle Quarter. Convenient to city of Bedford. Supermarket at end of road. Easy to walk around town. Took walk to Embankment and river only 5 minutes away. They didnt serve food but were close to other pubs that did and restaurants. Staff were friendly and quick to respond. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable.

Set in the Bedfordshire countryside, the Airman Hotel is 15 minutes’ drive from Hitchin and the A1(M) motorway. The restaurant and bar feature fresh-cooked food, beamed ceilings and a log fire. One of our rooms was really nice with a four poster bed. The other room wasn't that great
